Today, we are going to talk about security!
Your first measure of defense against your computer(s), server(s), email accounts and other online accounts starts with using a good or nigh impossible to hack password. The second part is to use two-factor authentication, if the source you are connecting with provides it! (There will be more on two-factor another time.)
But… today, we are talking about passwords.
With password hacking, always on the rise, it is important to not only regularly update passwords used for various logins, but also make certain those passwords are very difficult to break.
What makes a good password? It’s been found that three to four word passphrases can be both easy for the user to remember, while also being very difficult to impossible for a random hacker to crack your account, break in and have access to your personal or business accounts.
The following examples of both good and poor passwords, as tested through https://www.security.org/how-secure-is-my-password/

One takeaway is, never use a birthday! In fact, if you can avoid it, never use a string of numbers alone as a password, unless the string of numbers is longer than 9 digits!
